You can watch and like the videos in your own box, but that has no effect on the result. You rate a different box you’ve been assigned to — since you have no stake in its outcome, you can’t favor anyone.
In a five-video box, you hand out scores 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 — each one exactly once. So you can’t give everyone a high score and skew the result.
You watch each video before you can score it. Anyone who doesn’t finish their judging duty keeps their own box locked.
Once a box fills up and its videos are approved, voting runs for up to 6 hours. When time’s up, the box is automatically settled with whatever votes came in.
You judge a different box than your own — you watch all 5 of its videos and give each one a different score. At the same time, other participants are scoring your box. The video with the highest total wins its box.
Wherever there’s a prize, someone will try to game it. Three separate safeguards stop that before it starts.
The system decides which box you join, not you. This is a neutral assignment that gives no one an advantage. Participants’ identities also stay hidden until the competition ends — so "let’s join the same box as my friend and rate each other" simply isn’t possible.
Two people joining from the same IP address or the same phone never end up in the same box. This stops one person from entering the same competition with multiple accounts to boost their own chances.
Uploaded videos are automatically screened for inappropriate content (violence, hate speech, explicit material) before they’re published. Anything that doesn’t pass isn’t entered into the competition.
Entry fees from a box are pooled together. 20% of the pool is set aside as the platform’s share; the rest is distributed as follows.
Not every box costs anything. You can join free boxes without paying, and if you win you still earn BOF Jeton. You can use the tokens you build up to enter paid boxes or spend them in the store.
BOF Jeton is an in-app point used to join competitions and claim rewards from the store. You earn it by winning competitions or by purchasing it inside the app.
The tokens you win build up in your account. BOF Store has both digital rewards delivered instantly and physical products shipped to your address.

Can’t afford an expensive physical item on your own? Multiple people can each chip in from their own token balance to buy it together. Tokens never change hands between people — everyone spends their own share directly. If the target isn’t reached within 24 hours, everyone’s tokens are refunded automatically.
