What We Process, and Why

• Your phone number: so you can log into your account and we can send you a verification code by SMS.
• Your display name and date of birth: to show you on your profile and to make sure only users aged 18 or over use the app.
• The videos you upload: so you can enter competitions and other participants can rate them. So that everyone is judged under the same conditions, voters see a copy fitted to the 1080×1920 format. If you record a video inside the app, we use your camera and microphone only while recording, never at any other time. Uploaded videos are automatically screened for inappropriate content (violence, sexual content, hate speech); for this, the spoken part of the video is transcribed and scanned through an AI service.
• A record of your votes and competition results: to calculate results, your score and your prizes.
• Your IP address and device information: to prevent fraudulent or collusive voting.
• Your notification address (push token): to send you competition results and important updates as notifications.
• Your BOF Jeton balance and purchase history: to manage prize distribution and store orders. Payments are made through Apple or Google; your card details never reach us.
• Your delivery address and contact details when you order a physical product from the store: to deliver your order.
• Crash and error logs: to find and fix problems in the app. These contain your device model and technical details of the error.

Legal Basis and Sharing

• We process this data under Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), only for the purposes above. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising, and we do not transfer it to third parties beyond legal requirements.
• To deliver the service we use the following providers; each accesses only the data needed to provide its service and cannot use it for its own purposes: video hosting (Cloudflare), server hosting (Railway), SMS delivery (İleti Merkezi), notification delivery (Expo), error reporting (Sentry), AI content screening and speech transcription (OpenAI) and payments (Apple App Store / Google Play). Some of these providers are located abroad, so part of your data may be transferred outside Turkey.

Retention Period

Your data is kept while your account is active. If you request account deletion, data is deleted or anonymized except where a legal retention obligation applies.

Deleting Your Account and Data

• You can delete your account yourself with the “Delete my account” option at the bottom of the Profile screen. Your phone number, name, date of birth, notification address and uploaded videos are deleted or anonymized, and any remaining BOF Jeton balance is deleted too. If you have an ongoing contest, group purchase or an undelivered order, those must finish first.
• If you can’t access the app, email slpteknoloji@gmail.com stating your registered phone number; we complete the request within 30 days at the latest.

Your Rights Under KVKK

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to: learn whether your personal data is being processed; request information about it; learn its purpose and whether it is used accordingly; know the third parties it is transferred to, domestically or abroad; request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate; request its deletion or destruction under the conditions set out by the law; request that any correction or deletion be notified to the third parties it was transferred to; object to a result that is to your detriment arising from analysis of your data exclusively through automated systems; and claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.
