Description of the Service

Box of Fun is a mobile competition platform where short videos (up to 45 seconds) compete through peer voting. Participants upload a video to a "box"; once the box fills up, the competition begins, and the result is decided by voting from other participants assigned through blind matchmaking.

Age and Eligibility

Box of Fun is only for users aged 18 or over. Your date of birth is asked once at sign-up and can’t be changed afterwards; people under 18 can’t use the app.

BOF Jeton

• BOF Jeton is an in-app unit with no real monetary value — it cannot be withdrawn to a bank account or converted to cash, and it cannot be transferred between users.
• BOF Jeton purchases are made exclusively through Apple App Store’s or Google Play’s own payment systems. Jeton is spent on box entries and the in-app store, and can also be earned by joining and winning free boxes.

Fair Voting and Blind Matchmaking

A participant never rates their own box — ratings are cast on a different box, randomly assigned by the system. Opponents can’t be chosen in advance, and identities stay hidden until the competition ends. See the app’s "Official Contest Rules" screen for details.

Contest Formats

Besides regular boxes there are these formats: the “Contest of the Week” (a two-round contest with a prize announced in advance, closing at a set time and with unlimited participants), the “Friends Box” (joined by invite code, with no entry fee or token prize and no effect on your BOF Score) and “Public Voting” (where, in a box you’re not part of, you can pick a video to earn a small BOF Jeton reward without affecting the box’s result). The details of each format are in the app’s “Official Contest Rules” screen.

Cosmetics

Cosmetics bought in the store — frames, name colors, themes, badges and reaction packs — only change appearance and give no advantage in contests. Purchased digital items are non-refundable and can’t be transferred to another user.

Reporting and Moderation

You can report videos you find inappropriate and block a video’s owner from within the app. Reports are reviewed by our team; if content breaks the rules, the account concerned may be suspended or closed.

Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account from the Profile screen at any time. When it’s deleted, your personal data and videos are deleted or anonymized, and any remaining BOF Jeton balance is deleted too and can’t be restored. If you have an ongoing contest, group purchase or undelivered order, deletion waits until those are finished.

Prohibited Conduct

• Creating multiple accounts, or colluding with other users, to influence the outcome;
• Uploading content that infringes copyright, or contains violence, hate speech, or pornography;
• Abusing the platform’s technical infrastructure
• are all strictly prohibited and may lead to your account being suspended or terminated.

Content Rights

• You own the videos you upload. You grant us permission to show that video to other participants solely so the competition and voting process can function.
• For technical fairness between participants, all videos are shown to voters in the same format (1080×1920 portrait); nothing is cropped.
• You declare that you have the right to record and publish the video and to grant this permission, that it does not infringe anyone else’s copyright, personal rights or privacy, and that you have the consent of anyone who appears in it. A video found to violate the rules may be removed from the contest.
• If you win, we separately ask your permission to use your video on this website or in promotions — you can withdraw that permission at any time.

Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is"; we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages.

Changes

We may update these terms. You’ll be notified in-app of any significant changes.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey.
